A solid financial education is important for success in the modern
world. At Metropolitan National Bank, we feel it is important to
contribute to our customers' financial empowerment. The FDIC's Money
Smart Program was designed specifically to provide enlightening
financial instruction for people ages 14 and up.
The Money Smart Program is designed as a series of instructional
sections on the various aspects of banking, such as; borrowing,
checking, budgeting, and savings. Each section, or module, has several
sub-sections easily accessible by clicking on the module image. Within
each module sub-section are downloadable documents that are viewable and
printable with your personal computer or Macintosh. There are no
copyright restrictions on Money Smart, so the material may be freely
printed, reproduced and disseminated for purposes of financial
